Built primarily to showcase our “Timeless ‘56” pickup set for Tele, “Twiggy” is a combination of lightweight build, solid hardware and our open-sounding, transparent pickups that create a unique tone - both resonant and focussed, that allows the player to find their own voice and to craft truly musical tones.
She's a worn T-Type with a lightweight ash body and a sleek, soft-V shaped one-piece maple neck. The body is finished in aged two-tone sunburst nitro with the neck and fingerboard aged to mimic decades of use but the comfortable profile and carve, aided by a vintage correct 7.25” radius and jumbo frets make for effortless playability.
Our own “Timeless ‘56” vintage-correct repro pickups capture the bite and warmth essential for an era-correct build.
Elsewhere we have Gotoh hardware with split-post tuners and an ashtray bridge with three knurled steel saddles. Electronics are our usual top-notch CTS brass collar pots, a CRL three-way selector switch and a Switchcraft jack in an "electrosocket" to ensure trouble-free jack life.
