"Belle" the Paisley Blue '68 E-Type

£2,900.00Price

A stunning “Blue Paisley ‘68 E-Type” with trick wiring.

Meet our lovely "Belle" a "Paisley Blue" '68-inspired T-Type.

I've always loved the later '60s builds, particularly the Paisley models, but I had never had the opportunity to build one. I used two-piece alder for the body mated to an era-correct two-piece maple neck. I went with a vintage-correct 7.25" radius but used beefier 6100-size frets to aid bending, note definition, and feel.

The tuners are Schaller's excellent late '60s/early '70s replicas, and the bridge is a knurled steel saddle Gotoh. The electronics are our usual top-notch CTS brass collar pots, with a CRL 3-way and Switchcraft output jack.

Featuring a lone custom wound tappable pickup with two output choices via a three-way switch with an additional "Eldred mod cocked wah" setting PLUS a push/pull blower switch that pushes full output direct to the output. It is a simple and elegant design that boasts four distinct voices.
