“Regina” is our take on a late ‘50s style double-bound T-Type with a few modifications to enhance the playing feel. Finished in a stunning, aged three-tone sunburst finish, the two-piece centre-joined lightweight ash body is bound front and back and mated to a maple neck that is topped with a dark rosewood slab fingerboard and our own recipe clay dot markers.
The neck is a slinky medium “C” profile that feels perfect in the palm and we’ve enhanced the playing feel from true vintage to incorporate a 10” radius on the ‘board. The flatter radius added to huge 6000 nickel ally frets, offers an immediate, string bend-friendly playing feel, but retains the rounded edges and broken-in playing feel that our guitars are known for.
Elsewhere, the hardware is Gotoh vintage repro with an aged three-ply parchment pickguard and a hand-cut bone nut.
The juice comes from a set of our new "Timeless '59" Pickups wired through the best electronic components available including brass collar CTS 250k pots, a CRL three-way selector switch and a Switchcraft output jack with cloth-covered hookup wire throughout.
